✨ A Little History Behind the Fiesta ✨

Mexico’s Independence Day commemorates the beginning of the country’s fight for independence in 1810. On September 16, Father Miguel Hidalgo’s famous Grito de Dolores helped ignite a movement that would change Mexico’s history.

The celebration traditionally begins on the evening of September 15 with El Grito, followed by festivities on September 16 filled with music, food, gatherings and national pride🇲🇽

So grab your crew, raise a Bandera and celebrate with us at Antojo. Two days of good food, cold drinks, music and a whole lot of fiesta! 🎊
