A riff on the Last Word, the Last Dessert was inspired by a tragic story, the sinking of the RMS Titanic on April 14, 1912.

For first class passengers dining on what would be their final meal aboard the ship, one of the last dessert options was Peaches in Chartreuse Jelly. No doubt they were washing that down with some fine sparkling wine.
