We are seeking a Social Media/Marketing Coordinator who, while reporting to our executive team and working with other departments, will collaborate with our key operators to help design and implement online marketing strategies and procure content for all our social media platforms. We are looking to have a social media presence that captures the uniqueness of our company and reflects our goal of bringing our unique experiences to our guests

Think you have what it takes? Here is what you’ll need to do:
• Create original content for several social media platforms
• Create and implement a plan for each outlet
• Planning and scheduling content.
• Frequently updating, responding and engaging with our audience
• Using analytics tools to see success and trends of posts and campaigns and update a shared drive with this information on a consistent basis
• Work closely with our graphic designer to create and edit content
• Capable of taking and editing aesthetically pleasing photos (professional camera is ideal)
• Continuously build and expand authentic consumer brand experiences
• Keeping track of SEO and platform traffic
• Designing, creating, managing and implementing promotions and social media campaigns
• Creating reports for management showing results (ROI)
• Experience in the Food and Beverage Industry would be an asset
• Must have the ability to work independently



Qualifications:
• Degree in Marketing or Communications, or relevant experience.
• 3-5 years working in a Marketing/ Social Media position is essential.
• Has a passion for the food & beverage industry
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills are essential
• Enthusiastic and outgoing individual with a high degree of initiative and good judgement
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as independently
• Strong work ethic
• Excellent computer and publishing skills, knowledge of web-based media
• Ability to research and analyze
• Salary and benefit package commensurate with experience.

THE ATRIUM DECKS!

We are developing a unique rooftop patio experience overlooking Parade Square in the heart of Downtown Halifax on Argyle Street in between the iconic Five Fishermen and Auction House Restaurant.

The project involves a 4-tier outdoor deck, each will have a bar, foodservice, entertainment and will also be able to host receptions and weddings. This project will ideally give bring more life and entertainment to Argyle Street and Downtown Halifax.
