Still riding the high from the Canadian Brewing Awards Gala — what a day, what a night.

We’re feeling so full. Full of love, pride, and gratitude.

Seeing so many incredible faces, watching truly deserving breweries get recognized for their hard work and passion — it meant everything.

There were laughs, a few tears, so many hugs, and so much beer (obviously).

To all the breweries who took part in the competition and showed up for the gala — thank you. You’re the reason this community is what it is. We’re lucky to be part of it 💙

A huge thank you to our amazing speakers — Noelle (), Project Hop (), and Matt Winans from Fermentis ()— who brought so much heart and knowledge to breakfast sessions.

A huge shoutout to The Don of Beer () for emceeing the event, you did an amazing job.

To our sponsors — none of this happens without you.
Fast Track Packaging ()— thank you for backing this vision.
Lallemand ()— that party at Parallel 49 was next-level. You brought the energy, and we’re so grateful.

We came into this weekend to celebrate you.
We left feeling celebrated, too.
That’s community. That’s beer. That’s what this is all about.

Thank you for the love. We’re still feeling it.
You all rock. 🍻❤️

🔥 Some beers win medals. Some break the mold. This one might do both🔥

We’ve had some seriously unique and boundary-pushing beers entered into the Creative Category this year, and we’re loving every second of it. Breweries are going beyond classic styles and tapping into bold, unexpected ingredients—and Trolley 5 Brewpub () is a perfect example.

They are no strangers to the podium—consistently medaling in the ultra-competitive European Lager category, taking gold in 2023 and bronze in 2024. But now, they’re taking things to the next level with a beer that breaks free from traditional style guidelines. Enter Hatori Hanzo Japanese Green Tea Rice Lager 🍵🍺—yes, you read that right.

This crisp Rice Lager is brewed with Ujinotsuyu Genmaicha Green Tea & Toasted Rice Flakes, bringing smooth, grassy, and floral notes that make it incredibly refreshing. A perfect fusion of Japanese tea culture and craft beer creativity.

This is what the Creative Category is all about—no limits, just pure brewing innovation.

Who else plans to bring something wild to the table this year? 🍻👇If our team likes your crazy idea, you’ll win a free entry!
