1. Garlic Butter Steak
Ingredients
• 1 steak (ribeye or strip)
• Salt and black pepper
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 2 tbsp butter
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• 1 tbsp chopped parsley
Instructions
1. Pat the steak dry and season both sides with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a pan over high heat.
3. Add the steak and sear for 3–4 minutes per side (medium-rare), or to desired doneness.
4. Lower heat, add butter and garlic, and spoon the melted butter over the steak for 1 minute.
5. Remove from heat, sprinkle parsley, rest for 5 minutes, then serve.
2. Steak with Chimichurri Sauce
Ingredients
• 1 steak (flank or skirt)
• Salt and pepper
• 2 tbsp olive oil
Chimichurri Sauce
• ½ cup chopped parsley
• 3 tbsp chopped cilantro
• 3 garlic cloves, minced
• 2 tbsp red wine vinegar
• ½ cup olive oil
• Salt and chili flakes (optional)
Instructions
1. Season steak with salt and pepper.
2. Grill or pan-sear steak for 4–5 minutes per side.
3. Mix all chimichurri ingredients in a bowl.
4. Let steak rest for 5 minutes, slice against the grain.
5. Spoon chimichurri over the steak and serve.
3. Steak au Poivre (Pepper Steak)
Ingredients
• 2 filet mignon steaks
• Salt
• 3 tbsp crushed black peppercorns
• 1 tbsp olive oil
• 2 tbsp butter
• ¼ cup Cognac or brandy
• ½ cup heavy cream
Instructions
1. Press crushed peppercorns onto both sides of the steaks.
2. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
3. Cook steaks 3–4 minutes per side.
4. Remove steaks and keep warm.
5. Add butter and Cognac to the pan, simmer briefly.
6. Add cream and cook until sauce thickens.
7. Pour sauce over steaks and serve.
4. Teriyaki Steak
Ingredients
• 1 steak (sirloin or flank)
• 2 tbsp soy sauce
• 2 tbsp mirin
• 2 tbsp brown sugar
• 1 tbsp sesame oil
• 1 garlic clove, minced
• 1 tsp grated ginger
• Sliced green onions
Instructions
1. Mix soy sauce, mirin, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger.
2. Marinate steak for at least 30 minutes.
3. Heat a pan over medium-high heat.
4. Cook steak 4–5 minutes per side.
5. Pour remaining marinade into the pan and simmer until thick.
6. Slice steak, drizzle sauce, garnish with green onions.
5. Steak Fajitas
Ingredients
• 1 skirt steak
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1 onion, sliced
• 2 bell peppers, sliced
• 2 tsp chili powder
• 1 tsp cumin
• ½ tsp paprika
• Salt and pepper
Instructions
1. Season steak with chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and pepper.
2. Heat oil in a skillet over high heat.
3. Cook steak 4 minutes per side, then remove and rest.
4. In the same pan, sauté onions and peppers until soft.
5. Slice steak thinly and mix with vegetables.
6. Serve hot (great with tortillas).
6. Steak Salad
Ingredients
• 1 steak (sirloin or ribeye)
• Salt and pepper
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 6 cups mixed greens
• 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
• ½ cup sliced red onion
• ½ cup crumbled blue cheese
• 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Instructions
1. Season steak with salt and pepper.
2. Heat olive oil in a pan and cook steak 3–4 minutes per side.
3. Let steak rest, then slice thinly.
4. Arrange greens, tomatoes, and onion in a bowl.
5. Top with sliced steak and blue cheese.
6. Drizzle balsamic vinegar and serve.
