Summer festival days are getting closer! ☀️🎶

We're looking forward to gathering in the park once again - sharing great music, making memories, and celebrating the traditions and community that make the Goderich Celtic Roots Festival so special.

As a not-for-profit festival, the Goderich Celtic Roots Festival relies on an incredible team of volunteers to help bring festival week to life.

When you volunteer with us, you become part of the experience - welcoming festival-goers, supporting events behind the scenes, and helping create the community spirit that makes the festival so special.

There’s a role for every personality and skill set, but more than anything, volunteering is about connection, music, and community. Friends for a weekend, family for a lifetime. ❤️

A quick update from the Goderich Celtic Roots Festival team -

Our Web Store is currently experiencing some technical difficulties (aka the dreaded wheel of death 😅) when trying to purchase Festival Passes or Celtic College tuition.

We’re actively working to get everything back up and running as quickly as possible.

Because our advance pricing was originally set to end on May 31st, we’re extending the deadline to June 10th to give everyone extra time once the issue is resolved.

Thank you for your patience and understanding while we sort this out. We’ll keep you posted as soon as the website is working the way it should again. ❤️

Set in the beautiful, tree-lined Lions’ Harbour Park, the Festival features five stages of live music, fresh local food, artisan vendors, family-friendly activities, and the warmest atmosphere around.

🎵 Celtic College & Kids Camp (August 3–7)
Start your week immersed in hands-on learning at our renowned Celtic College, where students of all ages and skill levels can study music, dance, and craft with master instructors.

Kids aged 4–12 can dive into music and fun at Celtic Kids Camp, running in parallel with classes tailored for younger learners.

Whether you're a lifelong fan of Celtic traditions or new to the sounds of fiddle, harp, pipes, and song - there’s something here for everyone.

Ernie King Music is a treasure in Goderich and we all know that the heart and soul of the store is Jamie Wallace.

Jamie is facing a health battle that has forced him to close the store for a period of time. Most of our attendees have visited the store at some point over the years and know what Jamie and the store mean to Goderich. Ernie King Music and the Wallace family's support of our College and Festival has been invaluable to our very existence and now we are asking our Goderich Celtic Roots Family to help Jamie and his family out as they face some unknowns.

Proud moment!
14 year old Maggie Grace has been attending the Celtic Kids Camp since she was 5. This Friday, May 8th she will putting on her own concert at St. Joseph's Kingsbridge Community Centre at 7:30pm
We hope you will join us to help celebrate Maggie and her music.

The countdown to summer is on, and the Celtic Kids Day Camp is starting to fill up. ☀️🎶

Throughout the week, kids will have the chance to explore Celtic culture in a relaxed and creative setting, with hands-on classes led by local professionals and artists from the Celtic College.

From music to movement to storytelling, each day is packed with discovery and fun.

Whether they’re picking up an instrument for the first time or already enjoy performing, it’s a space to explore, learn, and connect through music and culture.

We’re excited to share some big news… 🎉

After an incredible response and one of the closest votes we’ve seen, we’re proud to announce co-winners of this year’s Robinson Emerging Artist Showcase!

The level of talent this year was outstanding, and the support from all of you truly showed up. The final vote was incredibly close, and it felt only right to celebrate both artists.

Both will be joining us on stage this summer at the Goderich Celtic Roots Festival as part of our Artist Development Program.

Thank you to everyone who voted, watched, and supported emerging artists - this is what community looks like 💛

We can’t wait to have both artists with us in August 🎶
