Malaimé Soleil is a rock band based in Saint-Hyacinthe and led by singer and guitarist Francis Leclerc. Its other members are Vincent Deit (guitar), Antoine St-Onge (bass), and Alex Crépeau (drums). Malaimé Soleil's musical genre offers French pop-rock. The group was part of the 25th edition of the Les Francouvertes competition in 2021.

Thank you Music / Musique NB 🎶🖤 These days maintaining spaces for community and art to flourish feels increasingly important and we're immensely proud to be nominated alongside so many others that make New Brunswick a hub of creativity. The very best thing about the CAP is how we've been able to support emerging artists and creative people (no matter their genre or medium) to learn, grow, and experiment for nearly 30 years (thank you Zach!!). For us, things like Open Mic Night, all ages shows, and booking someone's very first gig will always be at the heart of what we do (and also putting on the best show you've ever seen from a band you never thought would come to Fredericton is pretty cool too). Thank you to all the NB venues, festivals, and music professionals who work tirelessly to support our community. And thank you to all the artists (musicians, visual, drag performers, the list goes on) who share their work in our space, we are all better for it. What a weird little province we have here and how lucky are we to be a part of it all

TONIGHT 🎶 The Get Alongs go East with support from The Stoopheads and Kitsch

Formed in 2017, the four-piece, Harrison Pickernell (vocals, rhythm guitar), Rory Pickernell (lead guitar), Eric Wood (bass), and Tristan Catenacci (drums), have spent the better part of a decade refining a sound that pulls from 60s garage, 70s power pop, and 90s psych without getting stuck in any one lane. Early releases leaned scrappy and instinctive, equal parts surf shimmer and blown-out indie rock. With Second To None, that same DNA is still there, just sharpened. The edges are cleaner, but the intent hits harder, the hooks land heavier, and the band knows exactly when to let things breathe and when to push it just past the point of comfort.

BRIAR - is a new ensemble evoking, honouring, and cherishing the sacred spirit of the ancient communal practice known as “music”. The group features veteran song-maker Daniel Romano (guitar/sining) along with his longtime brilliant collaborators - Carson Mchone, (bass/singing) Tommy Major, (guitar/singing) and Fliss Horrocks (harmonium/singing).

Jenna James (she/her) is a q***r singer-songwriter from Newfoundland, now based in Fredericton. Inspired by the Irish tunes and kitchen parties she was raised around, Jenna brings an Atlantic folk-pop sensibility to soft-spoken songs about friends, pests, and inheritance. Jenna is very lucky to have the Jenna James Band joining her for Fest Forward and she is planning to release music next year.
