With heavy hearts and deep gratitude, we are reaching out to share some devastating news. Late last week, we were unexpectedly informed that Sunday would be our final operating day at our beloved Fonthill location in the plaza we have proudly called home. Due to profoundly deceptive actions from property ownership and management, we were blindsided, misled, and ultimately left with no choice but to close our doors—suddenly and without warning—following the sale of the plaza.
To say this has been heartbreaking would be an understatement. This was our home. Our stage. Our gathering place. A space filled with laughter, music, celebrations, and countless shared moments. From 75-cent wing nights and open mic nights to live weekend entertainment, birthdays, anniversaries, and even the quiet conversations over cold drinks—we lived for it all. More importantly, we lived for you.
To every patron who walked through our doors—not just from Fonthill, but from near and far—you shaped this little place into something bigger than brick and paperwork. You made it a family. The friendships forged here, the memories created, and the community we found ourselves embraced by… that is something no lease, sale sign, or shady deal could ever take away.
The circumstances surrounding this closure are deeply questionable, unsettling, and filled with actions that feel calculated and unfair. We are still processing it. Still grieving it. Still putting the pieces together. But one thing we know for sure—this story doesn’t end here.
Because while our doors may have closed at this address, the heart of Bourbon & Baco never will. The good times won’t stop. The bonds won’t break. The laughter, hospitality, and passion we pour into what we do will continue—only stronger. Temporary endings often plant the seeds for better beginnings.
Thank you for supporting us, trusting us, loving our food, cheering during the games, listening during the music, and becoming part of our journey. We appreciate each and every one of you more than words can ever express. The love you’ve shown us is something we will carry always.
This closure is sudden. Painful. Devastating. But it is temporary.
We look forward to healing, rebuilding, and serving you again soon—in a space that honors this community in the way it deserves to be honored.
Until then… stay tuned, stay close, and hold onto those good memories—we definitely will.
With love and appreciation,
The Bourbon & Baco Family
