Next Act Black is turning 10! They grow up so fast!!

Our pals at Blindman Brewing are helping us celebrate with a special birthday cask, dry hopped with loads of Simcoe. Dark, dank, and a very good reason to come to the pub.

Kick off your Halloween weekend with us Friday, October 30. 6pm until the cask kicks. Come raise a pint to the little b**r that’s been here for a decade!

Another staff spotlight, this time we’ve got our dear Maddie! ⭐️

How long have you worked at The Next Act?
Over four years! I started in April 2022.

Go-to menu item?
Korean Fried Tofu in naan with a side poutine.

Fave thing about the job?
The people. Obviously my coworkers, but also all the customers, the regulars, people coming in for the first time, b**r reps, contractors and the staff at our neighbouring restaurants. We have the best community of people.

What do you do in your free time?
I’m a few weeks away from finishing my master’s degree, so free time is pretty limited right now! But I love to crochet, read non-fiction, watch reality TV (the trashier the better), spend time outside with friends and hang out with my cat, Lucy.

Anything else?
I just want to thank everyone who has made this job so much fun over the past four years!!
