Ashford House Pub was built on a simple philosophy: to create a space where everyone is welcome. We set out to be a place where old friends gathered and new friendships were made.

With deep gratitude, we now say goodbye. Ashford House Pub has officially closed its doors, but the memories, laughter, and community that filled these walls will always remain. We are incredibly thankful for our loyal patrons, dedicated staff, and friends (new and old) who made this place feel like home.

Remember to support your local small businesses. They are the heart of our communities, the places where connections are made and traditions are kept alive. Every meal shared, drink poured, and conversation had within their walls helps keep these spaces thriving.

Though this chapter has ended, we will always cherish the moments we shared over great food, local brews, and the warmth of good company. Thank you for being part of our story. Sláinte,

It’s still cold out there. What better way to warm up than a hearty bowl of Irish Beef and Guinness stew. Packed full of beef and vegetables, it’s the perfect meal this week washed down with a pint of Guinness.

We had so much fun last week cooking up chipper fare at our Derry Girls night, we’re going to do it all over again this week with Father Ted. So come and grab a Spice Bag and Cheesey Garlic Chips and have a few laughs.

Gordon was enjoying his Sunday roast dinner at the pub yesterday. You can enjoy one too, every sunday from 2pm. This coming Sunday, Feb 2nd we will also have our live Irish trad session. Good times are on the house.

Craving a tasty Sunday Roast! We’ve got you covered. This Sunday Jan 26th will be a delicious Alberta Beef Rib Eye with all of the trimmings. Creamy mash, crispy roast potatoes, tender broccolini and carrots with lashings of rich beef gravy! $35 per plate. We also have a delicious vegetarian black pepper breaded cauliflower steak with a delicious mushroom gravy and broccolini. $28 per plate. Roast start from 2pm and once we’re out we’re out so booking is advised.

Our Sunday Roast Dinners were in high demand yesterday. Booking is advised for next Sunday from 2pm. Next week’s offering is Roast Ribeye of beef, creamy mashed potato’s, crispy roast potatoes, tender carrots and broccoli with delicious gravy made from roast drippings. We also have a vegetarian option of breaded black pepper cauliflower steak with a delicious mushroom gravy with a side of broccoli. Good times are on the house.

Maybe it’s the cold weather, but we’ve been craving some good old Chipper food lately. Join us Thursday, Jan 23rd when we will be serving up some old chipper favourites as well as playing Derry Girls and blasting some of our favourite 90’s tunes.

What’s one of the best things about serving a hearty roast beef dinner on Sundays? The fact that we can also serve delicious prime rib sandwiches during the week with our leftovers. Deliciously pink prime rib, cheese, onions, pickles and horse radish mayo, served in toasted sourdough. Perfect with a side of our crispy house fries and a guinness.

This week we have a deliciously tender roast rib eye of beef with crispy roast potatoes, creamy mash, honey carrots and broccoli, covered in a rich beef dripping gravy. Also on offer is a crispy breading vegan cauliflower steak with a vegan mushroom gravy. Booking advised as limited quantities available.
