My Final Thoughts

The Prince Albert Pub is just a house built in 1885. It's just an old place. It's falling apart. Inside is comfortable but very dated. There were some great beers and a lot of comfort food coming out of the tiniest kitchen.

You might think I'm complaining. But I'm not. Because none of that matters. A Pub is just a building. What makes the pub a pub is the customers. The patrons that come to socialize, to have a drink, to be alone with their thoughts or to be very vocal about their thoughts. It's all of you, over 20 years that made The Prince Albert Pub. Everyone that came through those doors are who defined the character and nature of the pub. And it's all
Of you I need to thank for making that experience all that it was.

There are memories to remember and memories to forget. But in the end it was the memories that you all created together that not only defined the pub, but defined me as well.

It was an honour and a privilege to have provided the Pub experience for you for the last 6 years.

I will love and miss you all dearly.

Sat Jan 14th 2017. After 20 years of being a pub it all comes to and end tonight.

I invite all to join us to usher out an era that has had such an impact on Mount Albert

Join us an reminisce with 20 years worth of stories, and join in with all people young and old that have enjoyed the Prince Albert Public House.

We open at 11am. The kitchen, however limited will be open until 8pm. Followed by most of our town drinking the pub dry.

I sincerely hope to see everybody there, for fun and friendship and some live music. 🍻🍻🍻

Auction Update !!! After the pub closes for our final party blowout on Jan 14th we will be holding a silent auction on Monday Jan 16th from 4-8pm. Many of the items that people love from the pub will be up for grabs. Please share this with all who are interested in some true Prince Albert Pub memorabilia 🍻🍻

So for the last night of the Prince Albert Pubs existence. We are proud to announce that Grant Fullerton will be playing live. Our Final night is Jan 14th.

So. To put the rumours to rest. We are closing. The building has been sold and there will be a new and exciting restaurant going in.

So for New Years we are breaking from our usual format. We will be open during the day for all. We will close from 5-7pm to setup for New Years. The kitchen will be closed after 7pm but since it's the last New Years as the Prince Albert Pub we will have free finger food out for all 🍻 so come join us in celebrating the new year 🍻🍻

Also. If you read this far lol. Our closing bash will be on Saturday Jan 14th. Only 3 weeks away. Book it off because it will be the last night Mount Albert will enjoy the Prince Albert Pub. Come and reminisce over 19 years of memories.

An auction for much of the things in the pub will be held the following week. Keep posted for the exact day and time.
