Today is a very sad day for all of the pub family as we say goodbye to one of our longest serving staff members, Cailee. Shes been with us for almost 11 years and most of you know her as our bubbly and smiley rockstar Friday night server! Alas she is leaving for Alberta with her fiancé and leaving a big hole in our hearts 💔 BUT… we are so happy for her as she starts a new chapter in her life in Calgary! Our loss is Alberta’s gain for sure.

We love you Cailee!! We’re going to miss you soooooo much! ❤️❤️

It is never easy to say goodbye to people you love and cherish. One of the things no textbook will ever teach, when starting a business like a pub, is that your customers sometimes become your friends, and sometimes “family” to our management and staff.

We lost two of those such people this past month - Cam Gray and Chris Punnett.

Cam’s fingerprints are literally all over this pub as he completed so many renovations for us, including our kitchen expansion in 2020. We will toast a nice Irish wh***ey in remembrance of him.

Chris was such character and was also someone we relied on, for our wharf and walkway structure, given his extensive experience. We’ll be toasting a bottle of Lucky for him soon too.

Both left us far too soon and have left a hole in our hearts and empty seats at our pub.

Godspeed gents!! We hope your next journey is amazing and that you leave an impression on the after-life with others, as you did with us!! ❤️
