🎵 Music Pairing: Deep Dive into Obscure Funk

The clue to understanding this w**e is right there in its name. Stratus means "layers."

Trivento Stratus 2022 is a blend led by Malbec, joined by Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot, with fruit sourced across Paraje Altamira, Gualtallary and Los Chacayes in the Uco Valley. The result is exactly what the name promises: different varieties, places, aromas and textures revealing themselves layer by layer.

Expect red and black fruit, cassis, violet, black pepper and spice wrapped around concentration, structure and energy. This isn't simply about power. The attraction is the balance between richness and freshness, fruit and tannin, intensity and elegance.

That's why we're putting it beside Obscure Funk. Both reward curiosity. One layer leads to another: a bassline you didn't expect, a horn arrangement you hadn't noticed, another aroma appearing as the w**e opens.

🎵 Music Pairing: Rare Soul | Rare Funk | Rare Blues

The bottle tells a beautiful story: delicate white flowers, jasmine and peach with mineral notes, followed by a harmonious, rich palate and long floral finish. The vines grow on hills beneath the famous rocks of Solutré and Vergisson, giving this Pouilly-Fuissé a strong sense of place.
