Hopheads know…there’s nothing like the first day release of one of our IPA’s. It does NOT get any fresher than this! Well, today’s the day as Huskador, our NEIPA, is back on tap! “Ray’s haze,” is the phrase that pays! Club members: remember, it’s half-price on pints and wine today. (NOTE: We do NOT serve wine by the pint!)

What a beautiful day to be out on the deck with a beer! We start our “not quite summer” hours today, with the deck opening at 2:00 each day. Kitchen still opens at 4:00. These hours will be in effect until June 22, when we go “Full Summer” on ya! On tap very soon: Huskador (NEIPA), Superior Session IPA, Maggie’s Irish Red, Soo Grand Cru and Soo Wheeat! Ray is working diligently to get those beers on tap as quickly as possible! Also in the works: Kolsch, American Rye (IPA) and 810 Brown!

It may be a beautiful day for The Legend, but the brewery is closed today in observance of Memorial Day. Our “not quite Summer” hours begin tomorrow and we will be open at 2:00 (kitchen still opens at 4:00). See you then! Hoping to have Huskador (NEIPA) back in tomorrow!

No better way to spend a drizzly afternoon than supporting the brand and here we are enjoying lunch with a Laker Gold at Northwoods Restaurant on Drummond Island. Great place! The brewery will be open for lunch soon enough (beginning June 22), but today, enjoy the Northwoods!

How cool is this?! Over the weekend, my son-in-law gave me this Lego sculpture of me that he pieced together. Check out the mugs, taps in the back bar, kegs on the side and giant pretzel! Of course, we serve ours on a plate, but you work with the pieces you’ve got. Brewed Laker Gold today in anticipation of summer. Next week: Grand Cru and Huskador!

Better late than never, but here are some photos from our 15th anniversary party, held last Saturday. We featured our original tap lineup of GoldiLocks, Soo Brew and Maggie’s Irish Red, among other things and enjoyed the best pizza in town, finishing the night off with live music from Logan Ferguson & friends. Deck season will be here before you know it!
