With the support of , we decided to invited a dozen local business owners into the bar for a neighbouly chat with Jeff and Matt, and we were stunned by the authenticity and humility that was shared across the bar-top.

Dartmouth is proudly our home, and has so much to offer - and we are thrilled to have had the opportunity to host our friends and neighbours and share their stories with our community and new visitors!

We are proud to congratulate our Cocktail Captain, for taking home Gold last week at Beyond NOA! 🏆

Beyond NOA by is Canada’s first and only nation-wide non-alcoholic cocktail competition. They initially held regional rounds that then brought 12 of Canada’s most talented bartenders to Quebec to go head-to-head. Their tasks was to make an original non-alc cocktail showcasing the local terroir of their respective home regions, as well as a Bartender’s Choice non-alc cocktail.

Drew’s local mixture used NOA’s non-alcoholic rum and apretif spirits complemented with sea buckthorn and spiced spruce tip soda (say that five times fast) for a showstopper cocktail called Highway 333 - named after the road that leads him home to Prospect Bay, NS.

And his Bartender’s Choice cocktail was a stirred “Martinoa” which contained NOA gin, sweet vermouth, Amaretto, coltsfoot, sunflower and rosemary.

His prize: Drew will get the chance to do TWO cocktail bar pop-ups of his choosing; one across Canada and the other internationally!
