Well that was a party!! Thank you to every who attended last nights annual Disco on Derby! It’s definitely a highlight of the year for us! It is so awesome to see everyone dressed up, having fun, dancing….and just amazing energy, peace and love! Crystal Beach is a special place, and this event shows that I feel!

Thank you to all of our staff for not only an amazing night, but an amazing summer!

Thank you to the crvfa_station_4 for once again working the bar, helping set up, tear down and just be all around great fellas! This event has become a big fundraiser for them!

Thank you to the Town of Fort Erie for being a great partner and allowing these outside of the box ideas to take place in Crystal Beach!

We love our community. And we love that so many people consider us their spot and consider the Disco to be the party of the year!

There is only one thing sweeter than a Sunday of the long weekend, and that's Sunday Funday of the long after the Disco on Derby!

Today's Sunday Funday Caesar is for those who might need a lil extra help this morning getting back into the swing of things, topped with a gooey grilled cheese and served with a side of tomato bisque for dippin' 🧀

Derby Days is in full swing! The road might look a little different than last night, but there ain't no better place to chill after a night of fun 🌞

🪩 The Disco Party is this Saturday from 7-11! Always one of the funnest days of the year! 🪩

A few things:

-admission is by donation with a portion of all proceeds going to the volunteer fire department!
-19 and over in the licensed area during the event. Be prepared to be ID’d, possibly multiple times throughout the night. Anyone caught drinking underage will be immediately removed
-no pets or smoking in the licensed area.
-no outside drinks or water bottles will be permitted in the licensed area.
-there will be a costume contest and we will try not to have too much fun and lose track of time like last year!
-there will be 2 outdoor bars this year. We strongly encourage you to bring cash as much as possible to keep things moving quickly
-Thanks to the Town of Fort Erie and most of our neighbours for being so awesome!
-music will need to stop at 11pm. SCC does not close the. But the music will stop and we will need to begin to clean up. utopiacrystalbeach is having an amazing after party to keep the disco tunes going!
-DRESS UP! Have fun. People dressing up far outnumber those who do not!

We are so grateful to the community for supporting this event. We are so proud that in 15 years or so of the Disco, we have never had any issues. Just people getting together to bask in the 1970’s radiance and laugh and have fun safely, and we certainly hope that will continue. Holding this even is a privilege not a right since it’s on the street, and we would love to keep doing it each year!
