Only four more days till the first Locals coffee house of the season. Just a reminder of a few things:
We open the doors to the lobby earlier now at 6:45
The stair lift is available by texting 2504273854
The concession is cash only please
Tickets are not available at the door.

It’s going to be a great kickoff for the new season with performances by, Jared Gross, Beckham Barr, Barry Coulter, the PDK string Trio, Jocelyn Molnar and Marcel Dou Roig

Check huckleberry books for any remaining tickets and we’ll see you at the show😃

Only twenty tickets remain for Oct 3rd show as of today.
Huckleberry books is the place to buy them plus perhaps an interesting book too. They’re very nice people at the bookstore.

Great news everyone! This band is not appearing at locals on October 3rd but the following people are hitting the stage to kick off the season in style:
Jocelyn Molnar, Beckham Barr, Barry Coulter, Marcel Dou Roig, Jared Gross and the PDK String Trio.
Doors open at 6:45 Tickets are only available at huckleberry books. No door sales unfortunately ☹️.
Come on down for a stellar evening of local entertainment.
Guaranteed no banjos or these guys however one of them has definitely played Locals before. Maybe we should host a Christmas concert featuring these lads. Let me know below in the comments what you think. Actually they’re not a band and instead some young guys one of which is my first born making the coolest Santa picture ever.

The first show of the 26/27 season is on October 3rd
We have a fantastic line up plus it’s the debut of the new sound system and lighting equipment. Tickets on sale Sept 19 at Huckleberry books. Tickets sell fast so pick them up early. Tickets unfortunately are not available at the door because it is a condition of our liquor license ☹️
Doors open at 6:45 and the show begins at 7:30

The show dates for the season are as follows;
October 3
November 14
Jan 23
March 27
April 24
With the possibility of a windup showapaloosa in May yet to be determined.

Great news everyone!
Things are happening at Locals for the upcoming season

Sound
Our brand new Bose sound system has arrived. Strong, pristine and faithful to the instruments is the best way to describe the sound quality. We look forward to providing the best for our audiences very soon.

Lights
Our directional stage lighting is delayed at Canada customs for now but we also hope to have that in our hands soon.
Ideal for following the action on stage it should add to the show quality as well.

Action
The 2026/27 season show dates have been established and are as follows:
October 3
November 14
January 23
March 27
April 24

Five dates confirmed with Cranbrook community theatre
With a possible wind up show in May yet to be determined.

Emails to potential performers will be sent out shortly so watch your inbox if you’re keen to appear onstage.

Hello everyone
A brand new email address has been created for information or e-transfers should anyone want to donate to our quest for new sound equipment. It is [email protected]
No security question for etransfer is required at this point.

This email address is now the main portal for all locals related communications including performers and booking etc.
Ticket sales are still managed thanks to Erin and her awesome crew at Huckleberry Books but last minute ticket enquiries in the event of a sell out will be handled through this email address.
Thanks for the patience as we get more wrinkles ironed out and stand by for next season’s shows. Dates are being organized right now in coordination with cranbrook community theatre.

Yesterday a very generous person who prefers to remain anonymous donated two hundred dollars towards our quest for new sound equipment. They love the shows and where it goes and by that I mean how our proceeds support school music programs. I will soon be creating a new email address for Locals that donations can be etransfered into or for information exchange so stand by for that please.
As of today our fund raising efforts for a new sound system stand at 1700 with a goal of 8500. We only want to do this once so we are going to do it right.
The Locals community is awesome!!!
