Our Burger Love entry this year is - The Maple Melt Down.

Since it's Wednesday - Sam's in Cornwall also has Trivia and Wings tonight with Greg Lucas . It's perfect time to enjoy our wing special and Burger Love.

I know there has been some controversy about using ai and some are concerned about picture manipulation online. Which is completely understandable. The only thing that added was the background and the quality in never is in question. I usually run out of time trying to create a burger for this event and pictures are taken at the last minute.

I feel this is a great Campaign coming out of the winter that gives local business a much needed boost. Everyone gets to enjoy some great food, get involved and start a conversation.

Good luck to all the participants and their staff this year, and also to other restaurants just doing their own thing :) 🦞 .

Thanks to everyone that shared and sent messages. They have been identified and I'll be letting the police know. Not sure if there will be any consequences but at least other business have a chance to refuse service.

I don’t usually post about dine-and-dashers, but these two deserve some attention.

On August 25th, they came into Sam’s in Cornwall, ran up a $70 bill, and then walked out. The man went to the washroom, stayed for 3–5 minutes, and headed straight for the door. The woman left just before him.

I’m sharing this because I’ve since learned that some of my friends, at least three other restaurants, have been hit by the same pair in the past few days. This isn’t a mistake — it’s planned and deliberate theft.

To my friends in the industry and other restaurant owners/staff: keep an eye out for these two. They are actively targeting local businesses.

If anyone recognizes them, please DM me. I’ll make sure the information gets shared with other restaurant owners and staff.
