To My Wonderful Colonial Customers, Who Became So Much More!!
As I sit here thinking about how today was my last day at The Colonial Sport Bar as the owner! I find myself feeling so many emotions. After 8 years, this is so much more than selling a business. It’s closing a chapter of my life that has been filled with so many incredible memories, friendships, laughter, and special moments
Over the years, you came through those doors as customers, but somewhere along the way, so many of you became friends — and some of you have become friends for life. ❤️
One of the things I will miss the most is seeing your faces every day, sitting down with you, having a drink, and hearing all about your weekend, your families, your celebrations, and even your everyday ups and downs. Those little moments became such a big part of my life, and I don't think I fully realized just how much I would miss them until today!
The Colonial was never just a business to me. It was the people who walked through those doors who made it what it was. You shared your birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, milestones, and so many special occasions with us. You trusted us to be part of your celebrations, and in return, you became part of my life in ways you may never fully know.
Selling was not an easy decision, and while I know it was what had to be done, that doesn't make saying goodbye to this chapter any easier. My days will look different, and I know I will miss the familiar faces, the conversations, the laughs, and the friendships that became part of my everyday routine. I may no longer be seeing you across the bar every day, but that doesn't mean we can't still sit down for a drink and catch up! 🍷💜
Thank you for 8 incredible years. Thank you for your loyalty, your support, your kindness, and for allowing me to be part of so many of your lives & the community. I will forever be grateful for every single one of you.
