Hi friends, THANK YOU SO MUCH for all of the support in our opening weeks - We’ve loved seeing your faces and sharing many of our past and current favourites! 🧡

If we’ve had the pleasure of serving you in the past couple weeks, you may have heard about our impending kitchen upgrades… while we wait for our new and improved -custom- hoodvent system to be installed our spring/reduced menu will be in effect.

It’s official! We’re so excited to welcome you back! On May 6th!!

We’ll be taking limited reservations for our (re)opening night. But there will be walk-in seating available for parties of up to four people!

Our spring hours will be:
5-10pm on Wednesday & Thursday
4-10pm on Friday & Saturday

Updated information regarding reservations and contact information will be available in a post tomorrow - We will begin taking reservations once that post is live!

As we work on the finishing touches there isn’t an opening date to share just yet - but we promise it’s within 2 weeks of this post. And you’ll be the first to know!

While we wait on some new kitchen equipment we wanted to get back into the groove (…and we’ve missed you a lot!)

Upon opening our menu will be limited but still packed with your favourite drinks, shareables, and handhelds - all to be enjoyed in the best company.

It’s been a while… and we’ve missed you terribly! Before we start a new chapter with the same great team, I wanted to (re)introduce myself.

I’m Austyn, my story at G&O began late 2024. As the Chef, I had the pleasure of serving the lovely members of this community.

The people who are willing to brave the summer heat for the sake of great food, drink, and company.

And those who love G&O enough to bring us home with them (as a scent that lingers -
ps. we’re working on that).

G&O has meant so much to so many people over the years. After so many incredible years and memories, I’m so proud to share that someone very special will be reopening G&O and continuing its story.
Watching her step into this next chapter has been such a joy. It takes courage, heart, and passion to take on something that so many people care about, and I couldn’t be prouder of the way she’s doing it.
G&O’s story isn’t ending - and the next chapter is in very good hands 🧡

Introducing ✨TINSEL TOWN TAPROOM ✨ – a holiday pop-up bar collab by NOCO Realty Group, Royal LePage ProAlliance Realty x George & Orange, created to bring you over-the-top Christmas magic 🎄

Think: floor-to-ceiling décor and twinkly lights for days… basically, we let Christmas explode everywhere (in the best possible way) 💥
Oh, and the themed cocktails and yummy eats? Also part of the holiday chaos🍸

And the best part? This magical little wonderland supports Community Care-Northumberland ❤️

This little corner of Cobourg has been so much more than just a restaurant - it was a gathering place, a home for stories, and a piece of my heart.

It’s hard to find the words, but here goes - after 9 wonderful years, September 26th will be our last day of service. What started as a dream became a gathering place, a home for countless celebrations, and a space filled with laughter & memories we’ll carry forever. None of it would have been possible without our incredible team and the support of this community who showed up for us time and time again. We are forever grateful for every moment shared, every familiar face we’ve gotten to know, and every memory made within the walls of G&O. We hope you’ll join us one (or five!) more times before we say goodbye. Thank you - from the bottom of our hearts, for being a part of our story 🧡
