Thank you to the over 200 runners who participated in the 4th annual Distillery Dash, and celebrated their achievements at the Distillery afterwards! What a fabulous day! Everyone helped raise $5,000 for the Trinity Conception Placentia Health Foundation! A massive thank you to all of the sponsors and volunteers; Athletics Northeast Running Club for doing the timing and helping organize the event, Harbour View Grocery, Dominion, Foodland, and Subway Bay Roberts for their donations of food and water, and the Bay de Grave Fire Department for their help with traffic and directing runners on the route. Thanks as well for the help from the Town of Clarke’s Beach and to the Medical Clinic & Lawtons in Clarke’s Beach for providing parking. We hope to see you all again next year!

This week we are at one my favourite spots, Rabble Restaurant, which has amazing food and wonderful cocktails. For our new competition - to win a $50 gift card to spend at Rabble, all you have to do is find the password (in the video) and be the first person to say it to the bar manager at Rabble! Superb cocktails and the magnificent Newfoundland Hot Cod Sandos by the brilliant bobblumer will be happening all weekend at our Tasting Room, beginning at 12pm on Friday July 17th and ending on Sunday July 19th around 4.30pm. The sandos really are delicious - the cocktails are all fantastic! It’s a win, win situation!

The YellowBelly Brewery is a fantastic pub and brewery right on the corner of Water St and George St. For professional purposes I had a an amazing Gin Basil Smash - with Seaweed Gin and Elderflower Liqueur while organising our new competition!! The first person to find Will, the manager of Yellow Belly and say the password (in the video) will win a $50 bar tab! How much fun is that?! Good luck and have a wonderful weekend.
