Friendly competition, major community impact, and almost 165 lbs of pop tabs collected! 🏆 Total team effort Sir Monty's Brewing Co., Durham Bikers Motorcycle Club, and HD-ROC & Friends to support Durham Medical and help fund essential equipment for our community.

A extra-special shoutout goes to Heather Lucinda Osborne & Olde Village Free House in Newmarket📍for their massive donation to the pile! 🍻🔥🙌🏼

And to every single friend, family member, customer, and generous stranger who saved and dropped off pop tabs, YOU guys are all the real winners here! We couldn’t have hit almost 165 lbs without this incredible community stepping up.
How it all started: For the last two years, DBMC brought pounds of tabs to HD-ROC’s end-of-season bike nights. That sparked an idea for a friendly challenge! All collected tabs go to Durham Medical in Oshawa, facilitated by our friend and frequent performer Douglas MacKenzie, to fund wheelchairs and essential medical equipment for community members in need. ♿🎶

Keep collecting, and we’ll see you at next year’s weigh-in! ♻️🏆💪
