We were very saddened to learn of Tom McSwiggan’s passing in Ontario. Tom brought tremendous music, warmth, and spirit to our ceilidhs over the years at our beloved “Mike & Tom” Thursday Night Ceilidh, which is a favourite for so many.

Our heartfelt thoughts are with Tom’s family during this difficult time. He will be deeply missed by all of us 🪗 🎶

It’s funny how it’s always during a snowstorm in the middle of winter that we start dreaming about ceilidh season ❄️🎻

It’ll be here before we know it!

While we’re out here shovelling on the Island, we thought we'd share a little taste of summer to warm you up.

The music, the laughter, the step dancing, the familiar faces — there’s nothing quite like a night at our famous Stanley Bridge Hall ceilidhs.

We can’t wait to welcome old friends, make new ones, and share another unforgettable summer of music together.

And of course, it wouldn’t be the same without the delicious strawberries & ice cream served up by our volunteers of the Sterling Women’s Institute — a true taste of Island summer! 🍓🍨

Summer can’t get here fast enough! ☀️🎶
