Summer's officially here, and we're kicking it off the best way we know how.

Taco Night is back this Thursday, June 25.

Grab a spot on the patio if the weather's behaving, or head inside where the AC is cold, the tacos are hot, and the vibes are exactly what a Thursday should be.

🖤 Cask On Today: Between Love and Hate. Made for the Engine 🍺

We're tapping a fresh cask today, and this style was practically born for cask service. This is Between Love and Hate – Dark Mild (3.5%), conditioned in cask with just a touch of Centennial dry hop.

At its heart, this is a traditional English dark mild. Smooth, easy-drinking, and packed with subtle layers of toasted bread, light chocolate, and gentle caramel malt character. The Centennial adds a light modern touch on the nose, bringing hints of citrus and floral aroma without taking away from what makes this style so special.

On cask, it absolutely shines. Soft natural carbonation, a silky mouthfeel, and a smooth, balanced finish that makes it dangerously easy to settle in for another pint.

This isn't a beer that shouts. It's a beer that quietly reminds you why traditional styles have stood the test of time.

As always, this one is poured from our genuine hand-pumped beer engine, and it's one of the only true cask beers you'll find in the valley. We only have one cask, and they rarely last more than 24 hours.

🍑 Cask On Today: Big Papa. Bursting with Topaz & Amarillo 🍺

We’re tapping a fresh cask today, and this one is packed with aroma. It’s Big Papa – Peach & Apricot Pale Ale (5.8%), conditioned in cask and dry hopped with Topaz and Amarillo.

Topaz brings bright tropical fruit, lychee, passionfruit, and subtle resinous notes, while Amarillo layers in juicy orange, tangerine, grapefruit, and soft floral citrus. Combined with Big Papa’s peach and apricot base, the result is an incredibly aromatic pint with wave after wave of fruit character.

On cask, it’s drinking beautifully. Soft natural carbonation, silky smooth texture, and a juicy, fruit-forward finish that keeps you coming back for another sip.

This hop combination works exceptionally well with the beer, lifting the peach and apricot notes while adding another layer of tropical and citrus complexity.

💊 Cask On Today: Dr. Feelgood. Amarillo Turned Up to 11 🍺

We’re tapping a fresh cask today, and this one is all about one of our favourite hops. This is Dr. Feelgood – IPA (6.8% ABV), conditioned in cask and loaded with a boatload of Amarillo hops.

Amarillo is famous for its bright orange citrus character, bringing notes of tangerine, orange zest, grapefruit, and subtle floral aromas. In this cask, it takes the classic Dr. Feelgood hop profile and cranks up the citrus, creating an aroma that jumps right out of the glass.

On cask, Dr. Feelgood drinks beautifully. Soft natural carbonation, a silky smooth texture, and a firm hop backbone that stays balanced and incredibly drinkable from the first sip to the last.

🍊 Final Dos Jefes Cask. This One Is Ridiculously Good 🍺

We’re tapping a fresh cask today and this one is something special. It’s Dos Jefes – Grapefruit Vanilla IPA (7% ABV), conditioned in cask and dry hopped with El Dorado and Mosaic.

El Dorado brings waves of tropical fruit, pear, watermelon candy, and juicy citrus, while Mosaic layers in mango, grapefruit, blueberry, and soft pine. Together with the grapefruit and vanilla base of Dos Jefes, it creates an insanely aromatic pint that somehow stays balanced while absolutely exploding with flavour.

And honestly? This cask is drinking unbelievably well right now. Soft natural carbonation, silky texture, bright citrus, smooth vanilla, and huge hop aroma all working together perfectly.

This is also the last Dos Jefes for the foreseeable future, so if you’ve been waiting to have one more pint, now’s your shot.
