It is with heavy hearts that we say goodbye to our friend, Joe.
Joe wasn’t just a regular at St. James Gate—he was part of the heart of this place.
If you knew Joe, you knew his quick wit, his love of good banter, and the smile he’d bring through our doors. One of his favourite traditions was waiting to see what we’d create on the foam of his Guinness. It became a little ritual between Joe and our staff, and he looked forward to it every visit. This particular pint, crafted by our very own Leah, simply read “Joe.” It was simple, but it meant the world to him.
There will always be a seat in our hearts where Joe used to sit, and his absence will be deeply felt by all of us who had the privilege of knowing him.
To Joe’s family and friends, we extend our deepest condolences. Thank you for sharing him with us over the years.
