Arusha Reunion 2016
Once upon a time in the early 90's, Calgarians brought a dream of bringing Arushanians together by hosting an intimate reunion. Over a decade later, Torontonians followed the footsteps of Calgarians and proceeded to host a larger scaled 3-day event in 2010. The event proved to be a huge success and was a blast for both participants and organizers likewise. At the closing, Calg
ary was nominated to host the next national-reunion party. Organizers are taking the nomination seriously as the bar was set very high by the last event. The Arusha reunion 2016 will act as a continuation and perhaps extension of the last reunion of 2010. This event will be a good opportunity for people from all over the world to reconnect with their fellow Arushanians. At the last reunion,people from all over the world including Australia, New Zealand, Tanzania and the United Kingdom participated in the event. Our goal for this year is to recreate our community we had in Arusha, as well as engage our youth and friends abroad to participate and build new lasting relationships. This website will offer registered members access to the blog, news, information, recipes etc.To register please click the link "request login" at the bottom of this page. The automatic system will guide you through the process. This website will help our community unite and stay connected during the planning, organizing and executing processes. The key for success on this project will depend on the Arushanians' ability to register and participate using this website as a portal of communication. We anticipate the website will bring good memories and fun for all. If all goes well, we will keep the website active in the future, even after the re-union 2016 is over
Please indicate on the survey if you are able to contribute towards the event in any way. Offering accommodation to guests from outside is an example. Arusha is a small city with a big heart. Our culture and lifestyle is unique and the point of envy for many people. We are so grateful to Arusha for offering us so much - friendships, a solid foundation, unity, learning challenges which have in turn helped us develop into the people we are today!
