Southwest Hockey Association is seeking a passionate and experienced Manager of Hockey Operations to help lead the future of Cougar hockey.

This is a unique opportunity for a hockey development professional to make a lasting impact on players, coaches, and families across our association. The successful candidate will oversee player development programming, provide coaching mentorship, support evaluations, and help shape the long-term development pathway for Southwest Hockey athletes.

We’re looking for an individual with strong hockey knowledge, leadership skills, and experience delivering high-quality development programs who is excited to help our players and coaches reach their full potential.

🏒 Competitive salary plus incentives
🏒 Lead player development from U5 through U18
🏒 Mentor coaches and support evaluations
🏒 Work alongside a dedicated team of volunteers and hockey leaders

One of our favourite Southwest Hockey traditions, Cougars Give Back encourages our players and teams to get involved in the community and demonstrate the true meaning of Cougar Spirit.
Over the years, our teams have made a difference in countless ways—from shovelling snow and volunteering at animal shelters to visiting seniors’ centres and organizing food bank drives. We couldn’t be prouder of the impact our players have made both on and off the ice.
We can’t wait to see the creative and meaningful ways our Cougars choose to give back this season. Together, let’s continue making a difference in our community—one act of kindness at a time.

Today we thank Ann Driscoll for her years of dedicated service as Treasurer/Secretary for Southwest Hockey Association.
Since joining the Board of Directors in 2019, Ann has played a vital role in ensuring the financial stability and success of our association. Through her expertise, leadership, and commitment, she has helped guide important financial decisions while providing the strong stewardship that keeps Southwest Hockey on solid footing.
Even after her own family’s playing days had ended, Ann continued to generously dedicate her time and knowledge to supporting future generations of Cougar players and families.
Thank you, Ann, for your years of service, countless volunteer hours, and unwavering commitment to Southwest Hockey.

Southwest Hockey Association would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Wes Jardine for his years of service and leadership on the Southwest Hockey Association Board of Directors.
After many years as a Southwest Hockey coach, Wes brought his experience and passion for the game to the Board, serving as Vice President Off-Ice before taking on the challenging role of Director at Large for Game and Conduct. Through his professionalism, sound judgment, and steady leadership, Wes helped support players, coaches, and families while fostering a respectful and positive hockey environment.
Beyond his Board responsibilities, Wes played a key role in bringing the Southwest Hockey Tree on Tree 3-on-3 Tournament and Graduating Player Game to life, creating memorable experiences for our players and families.

Today we thank Holly Kelly for her years of service and leadership on the Southwest Hockey Association Board of Directors.
Since joining the Board in 2018, Holly has made a lasting impact through her dedication to our players, families, coaches, and volunteers. Most recently, she has led Game and Conduct, one of the most challenging roles within our association, helping ensure Southwest Hockey remains a safe, respectful, and positive environment for all.
Whether supporting difficult conversations, helping bring the Graduating Player Game to life, or stepping up wherever needed, Holly has always led with compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to our hockey community.
Thank you, Holly, for your countless volunteer hours and unwavering dedication to Southwest hockey. Your impact will be felt for years to come.
