This month’s feature cocktail means a lot to us. Meet the Safe Haven 75 - our Mother’s Day inspired Cocktail For A Cause made with limoncino, local gin, citrus, and organic prosecco. Bright, elegant, refreshing, and created in support of something deeply important.

For every Safe Haven 75 sold in May, $2 will be donated to ’s Lighthouse Fund - a program helping survivors of domestic abuse find safety for themselves and their beloved farmed animals. Because leaving dangerous situations is hard enough without having to leave loved ones behind 🤍

PATIO SZN IS OFFICIALLY HERE ☀️🌿🐶

Our patio is now officially open for the season and we can’t wait to soak up another Calgary summer with you all!

As always, well-behaved pets are welcome on the patio 🐾

A few quick patio notes:
• Patio seating is weather dependent (generally open unless it’s raining or below 15°)
• We do not take patio reservations specifically
• PLEASE still make a reservation to guarantee yourself a table!

Because Calgary weather changes every 10 minutes, we have to be careful not to overbook beyond our indoor capacity in case of rain. That said, we are always happy to note your patio preference and will absolutely do our best to seat you outside whenever possible ☀️

And finally - a gentle seasonal reminder:
Patios come with sunshine, wind, bugs, shifting shade, surprise gusts, and all the other little things that happen outdoors 😅 Please be kind to our team about the things Mother Nature controls better than we do.

Earth Day, but make it actionable 🌍💚

A plant-based diet isn’t just good for animals - it’s one of the most powerful ways to reduce your environmental impact.

Here’s the reality:
• Animal agriculture is responsible for ~14.5% of global greenhouse gas emissions- that’s more than planes, trains, and automobiles combined
• It uses nearly 80% of the world’s agricultural land - but produces less than 20% of global calories
• Producing 1 beef burger can use over 2,000 litres of water- that’s weeks worth of showers.

Meanwhile, plant-based meals use:
🌱 Less land
💧 Less water
🌍 Way fewer emissions

You don’t have to be perfect. Even swapping a few meals a week makes a real difference.

UPDATE: while this would be lovely and is not outside of the realm of possibility, this WAS an Aprils Fools prank, and Vegan Street YYC is staying right where it is! You can’t get rid of us that easily ;)

Well friends… after many years of pizza, burgers, margaritas, live music, late nights, and unforgettable memories in Calgary, we’ve made a huge decision.

Next spring, Vegan Street is heading somewhere a little warmer.

We’re moving to Costa Rica to build the ultimate jungle treehouse Vegan Street, where the margaritas are tropical, and dinner comes with monkey a soundtrack.

That means you have exactly one year left to dine with us in Calgary before we trade snow boots for flip flops.

Come get your kalamari, tacos, burgers, and pasta fix before we go full rainforest on April 1 2027.
