Design District Urban Tavern Design District Urban Tavern, known by locals as District. We like to be able to pick our own table. We make our own bacon, ketchup, aioli and mustards.

We like to use locally grown organic produce, and naturally raised beasts. We prefer to serve fish with their heads on and are prone to late lunches and early drinking. We don't like menus. Rather, we prefer our ingredients as fresh as possible. So don't be offended when you have to get off your butt and grab a chalk board. We like drinking late into the night, and love gin & tonics in the summer.

We like to have fun... and we can take the fish heads off if you prefer, pumpkin. In the heart of Calgary's Design District, we're not your ordinary watering hole. For foodies who LOVE to drink.
