Employee spotlight ✨

This week we’re celebrating Gabriella, the accounts manager who keeps Mogiana running smoothly behind the scenes!

Here’s a fun one: Gabriella can close and open her left eye while keeping her right eye open, just like a doll. It’s harder than it looks. 🤣

Outside of work, she’s a proud mom to her son Joaquim. From accounts to operations, Gabriella’s hands are in almost everything we do here, and we couldn’t be more grateful to have her on the team. Thank you, Gabriella! 🫶🏻

Yesterday, we welcomed the team from To Live For Bakery to the roastery for a morning of all things coffee.

We walked through our roasting process, ran a cupping game so they could taste some of our coffees side by side, and talked about what makes each one special.

We're proud to be their coffee partners, and it was a pleasure to get their team behind the scenes.

Big smiles this week — my parents Sandoval and Matilde flew in from Brazil to visit! Mogiana has always been a family affair, and honestly, it only exists because of their support. I’m forever grateful for that.

I grew up spending every holiday at my grandparent’s coffee farm — four generations rooted in the same land. That passion is what we carried with us when we started Mogiana Coffee and began bringing our beans to BC.

Already missing them, and I can’t wait until we’re together again! ❤

New month, same great lineup - local vendors, seasonal produce, and small-batch goods you won’t find anywhere else. Wander the stalls, chat with the makers, and stock up on whatever’s freshest this week.
