There are always two sides to a story. π₯
A recent 1-star review stated that one guest needed to keep her leg straight because of a knee injury. However, when the guests initially entered the lounge, our footage shows her appearing to dance and move around normally.
The review itself also confirms that our staff asked them TWICE to remove their feet from the furniture.
After those requests were ignored, the owner approached the table and gave a very simple choice: Take your feet off the furniture or leave the establishment.
What the written review doesnβt show is the full interaction. During the conversations with both our staff member and the owner, the guests can be seen laughing and smiling during the exchange, while the request to respect our furniture continued to be disregarded.
At Bula Lounge, thousands of customers use the same couches and chairs. We believe asking guests not to place their feet on shared furniture is a reasonable cleanliness and hygiene standard. This is the 3rd customer in the last week to do this...
The question weβll leave to you: would you be comfortable sitting on furniture after another customer had their bare feet on it?
