Offering the area's best selection of fresh fish, fine shellfish and the city's first wood grill! Proprietor and Burlington resident Jamie Myers (The Big Oyster!) built & opened this popular restaurant in 1985 and remodeled in 1998 to become Jake’s Grill & Oyster House. As you explore our web site you’ll soon feel the comfortable & nautical ambience our guests have come to enjoy over the last 20 years. The restaurant features market fresh oysters from our two biggest suppliers – the Atlantic & Pacific Oceans, as well as the areas best selection of fresh fish & fine shellfish. Our steaks are hand cut from fresh Canadian AAA aged beef and grilled over a natural hardwood fire.

Today we celebrate National Culinarians Day, and we would like to show some appreciation for our entire Back of House team!

Today’s Weekend Brunch Crew represents our BOH department, which consists of 22 Staff that includes Chefs, Cooks, and Bussers!

Fun Fact: Our BOH Department includes FIVE members who have 5+ years of service, FOUR members who have 10+ years of service, and TWO members who have 15+ years of service!

Our Kitchen Crew are the folks that put the heart & soul into the food that you know & love here at Jake’s. They meticulously put each dish together with pride and show up every day with relentless work ethic to ensure Jake’s Hospitality is nothing short of the high standard Burlington expects! Whether it’s conquering the busiest of services or battling through the hottest of days, there is no challenge too large for our Kitchen Team. Their dedication to excellence is reflected in the high quality food that they produce each day, and we couldn’t be more thankful for their commitment to serving our community.

Happy National Tequila Day!

Although we think we make a pretty mean margarita (and Paloma!), sometimes the liquid is too good to mask in juice!

Jake’s proudly offers additive free tequilas such as Siempre Blanco & Reposado, Don Fulano Anejo, and Tromba Cedano Reposado. These tequilas make for EXCELLENT sippers - save the shooters for the bar rail!

Siempre Tequila is a special brand, representing The Great White North with Canadian-Mexican 🇨🇦 🇲🇽 ownership & produced at the legendary Viva Mexico distillery (NOM1414) by master distiller Sergio Cruz!
