You've probably seen Brendan's work without even realizing it. After shooting media for festivals like Sonic Springs and Camp Summerdaze, Brendan has become a familiar face behind the camera capturing the people, music, and madness that make these events what they are.

BUT THIS YEAR, HE'S FLIPPING THE SCRIPT.

Brendan is making his Northern Vibe debut under the name Xander5k, bringing his love of deep bass and dubstep from behind the camera to the speakers. And don't worry... he'll still be running around with a camera capturing all the chaos for us too!

We love this forest, and we're asking you to help us keep it beautiful.

NO GLASS BOTTLES. NO GLASS CONTAINERS. PERIOD.

"But I always bring my glass water bottle."

"But it's just one bottle."

"I'll be careful with it."

We get it... but all it takes is ONE broken bottle to turn a beautiful campsite into a hazard for people, pets, and wildlife. Once glass breaks, those tiny pieces can end up buried in the soil or scattered through the bush for years.

So please leave the glass at home.

Bring reusable plastic, stainless steel, or other non-glass containers instead. Your stuff will still get there. Your drinks will still taste great. And nobody has to spend Sunday morning hunting for microscopic shards of glass in the forest.

This isn't about being difficult. It's about respecting the place we're lucky enough to party in.

PACK SMART. LEAVE NO TRACE. KEEP THE FOREST CLEAN.

If you accidentally bring glass, let a member of the Northern Vibe crew know and we'll help you figure out what to do with it.

Let's leave the forest looking as good as we found it... or better.

One of the Roost crew's most unpredictable troublemakers, USED DJ is back in the forest for another round!

Toronto's Used DJ has been keeping dance floors moving all over the city, with recent appearances at Wiggle Room and Roost's Swingin' Bass Cabaret. And if you were at Northern Vibe last year, you probably remember that DJing isn't the only thing Used DJ gets up to...

Because apparently setting yourself on fire is also part of the job description.

After bringing the FIRE to Vibe last year and turning up the heat at Harvestfest in Burk's Falls, we're expecting another absolutely ridiculous performance this time around.

Come for the music. Stay for whatever the hell Used DJ decides to set on fire.
