Surprise Dad with tickets to Elvis Returns on July 11th at the Sanderson Centre and treat him to an unforgettable night of music, memories and all of his favourite Elvis hits.

Featuring 2 of the world's leading Elvis Tribute Artists recognized by Elvis Presley Enterprises as among the best in the world, 2023 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist EMILIO SANTORO and Ultimate Top 5 competitor BRUNO NESCI.

Together, they will explore all eras of Elvis' music and performances. Beginning with the raw intensity of his earliest songs and emergence as a pop culture icon, this show continues with his re-emergence in the '68 Comeback and the power and charisma of his Vegas years' performances.

Did you know the Temple Theatre's ceiling was designed to help performers be heard throughout the entire auditorium?

Long before modern sound systems, vaudeville performers relied on the theatre's clever design to carry their voices to every seat. The auditorium's curved ceiling acted like a natural acoustic reflector, helping project sound from the stage to the back of the house.

Above that elegant plaster ceiling is a hidden network of walkways, wires, and support structures used to maintain lighting and equipment high above the audience. While most patrons never see this space, it has quietly supported performances for more than a century—and according to local lore, may even be home to a few theatre ghosts.

Did you know the Temple Theatre's Grotto Lobby was designed to be as practical as it was beautiful?

Located beneath the auditorium, the Grotto served as a waiting area for patrons arriving for the second show while performances continued overhead. Its curved ceiling directed sound downward, helping keep conversations from drifting into the auditorium, while also reducing noise from the theatre above. The design even helped block the sounds of the busy street outside, creating a more comfortable space for patrons and performers alike.

More than a century later, the lower lobby remains an important part of the theatre, serving as a rehearsal space and waiting area for performers and guests. It's a wonderful example of how thoughtful design can stand the test of time.
