With the closing of The Bottled Grape approaching on July 31st we are starting to accumulate numerous glass and plastic carboys available for sale. Glass carboys are $15.00 each or 3 for $35.00, while the plastic carboys are $3.00 each or 4 for $10.00. We also have other small equipment and supplies available for sale. Today, April 30th, is the last day that we will be open to sell wine, beer and cider kits. Just 12 4wk premium kits in stock, 1 All Juice Red Zinfandel kit, one Trio kit from Spain (white), 5 Beer Kits and 10 cider kits. Great deals on all kits. No phone orders.

The Bottled Grape Retail Section is Closing
The Bottled Grape will stop selling wine, beer and cider kits effective April 30th. No new stock will be ordered effective immediately. Existing stock has been marked down considerably in order to clear it out on, or before, the 30th. Current stock is limited with some varietals already sold out. All stock will be sold on a first come/first paid/first served basis (no phone orders for the first week of the sale). Pay cash and save more.

It's been a fun ride. It's time to retire.

Please note that The Bottled Grape is closed for the Easter Weekend starting Good Friday. We will be opening back up on Tuesday, April 2nd when our Store Clear-out Pricing takes effect. Wine, beer and cider kits will be marked down considerably from retail prices. Pay cash and save even more

CLOSING UPDATE
Well, my last shipment of wine kits has just been delivered (except for pre-ordered Limited Editions). Come in soon and make your last batch before we close our retail section on April 30th. All wines put on before April 30th will still be looked after until they are bottled and out of here at which time all equipment and leftover kits will be sold off. I expect to be officially closed and retired by July 31st.

Note: Because there is limited stock available you should come in sooner than later to put on your next batch.

Closing News - As many of you are aware I will be retiring from the Wine Making business on April 30th, 2024. Although it is my hope to sell, as of today, we have had no serious offers to keep the business going here in Blenheim. With this in mind I am letting all my customers know that I will not be ordering any new stock after the 1st of March. If you have a favorite wine that you wish me to have in stock in March just for you, please contact me before February 29th with your request. As of April 1st, all remaining in-stock wines will go on sale at Close-Out pricing on a first come/first pay/first serve basis. I will still be looking after your wines until bottling in April, May or June with a final closing date of approx. June 15th.

Unfortunately Heather doesn’t have her Skates handy so the store will be closed today, Tuesday January 23rd. We will reopen tomorrow for Regular Hours.

FYI - I am away from the store January 20th to 27th. Heather will be looking after all wines currently on during my absence. She will have the store "OPEN" part-time during the week for retail and/or bottling purposes. Please call ahead before planning a visit to the store (226-367-0367) to find out when the store will be open. I will be back in the store on Tuesday, January 30th.
