Glenn Gordon is back at The Village Taphouse in West Bedford this Saturday at 8:30pm.

If the name rings a bell, it should. Glenn was the lead singer and acoustic guitarist for MacKeel, the Pictou County Celtic band that turned clubs into kitchen parties across the Maritimes.

He played here before and the room stayed all night. That's the whole review.

Half price Guinness this Thursday at The Village Taphouse in West Bedford, 7pm to 11pm.

A proper pint, poured right and given the time it needs to settle. At half price for four hours.

Then at 8:30pm we're running All Things Irish Trivia. Music, history, culture, famous faces, and a few questions that might have you second-guessing how Irish you really are. One round only, no team needed in advance, just show up and play.

Why half price Thursdays? Because weeknights deserve something worth showing up for. It's our way of thanking this community and giving you an easy reason to meet up midweek.

Tonight is our yearly Hockey for Hope fundraiser at The Village Taphouse in West Bedford, with Shipwreck performing live.

Doors for the event are at 7:30pm. Tickets are $25 and available on our website at villagetaphouse.ca. We may have a few at the door depending on space, but buying ahead is the safe move as it's always a full house.

If you're not coming to the fundraiser, we're still open to the public from 2pm until 7:30pm. Come by early, grab a drink, and stay as long as you like before we switch over.
