👏👏👏We want to say a HUGE Thank You to everyone who came out to support our Fundraiser last weekend. We're still counting, but the event brought in nearly $15,000 in support of our Accessible Lift Addition at the Village Playhouse. We appreciate each and every one of you who helped contribute to the success of this event.

🐝IT’S YOUR TIME TO ✨S-H-I-N-E✨SPELLER!🐝

We are on the hunt for GUEST SPELLERS for our upcoming production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee! Each night, 4 guest spellers (including one local celebrity guest) will appear alongside our professional company and vie for the title of Putnam County Spelling Bee Champ! Anyone over 8 years of age is invited to submit for your chance to RECEIVE TWO COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS to your selected guest appearance show time, and see what it’s like on stage in a major musical! This laugh out loud show is a blast from start to finish, and you’ll have an amazing time as part of the action!

And don’t worry, if you don’t make it to the end, you’ll get to watch the remainder of the production from the comfort of your theatre seat, and you’ll even get a consolation juice box! No experience/good spelling necessary! Don’t miss this rare opportunity to step out of your comfort zone, and step onto the stage!

Applications are now open! Participants will be notified two weeks prior to chosen show time if they are selected to appear so you can tell your friends and family! Only one online application will appear per performance time, plus one celebrity guest, and two spellers hand selected from the audience.

⬆️⬆️⬆️Tweed & Company is so excited to finally be realizing the dream of an accessible lift addition at the Bancroft Village Playhouse! This is part of our overall plan to make the building barrier free, so everyone has the opportunity to experience amazing live entertainment, as well as arts, culture, and community events in their home town. But we need your help! Between now and the beginning of September when construction will commence, we need to raise approximately $100,000.00 to augment grants and funding already received. Make a bid today to support this amazing cause, and join us at the UP UP UP Fundraiser on May 30th to collect your prize and experience a great event in support of a great cause!

‼️NEW CONCERT ANNOUNCEMENT‼️CLASSIC PURPLE is playing in Tweed and Bancroft!

Comprised of five professional musicians and Deep Purple fans, Classic Purple offers you a Deep Purple experience like no other. Neil Culbert (Thunderboogie) provides the incredible, note perfect vocals. Brenden Rodgers is on blazing lead guitar. Joel Visentin (The Lizards) is a jazz influenced keyboard wizard with great vocals too. The powerful rhythm section consists of Joey Slegtenhorst (Mother Leads) on bass and Ilios Steryannis on drums.

Classic Purple will be storming through two sets of Deep Purple classics including Highway Star, Space Trucking, Child In Time and Smoke on the Water. Close your eyes and you will feel like you are at the Festival Hall in Osaka, Japan in August of 1972!

We are still on the hunt for one or two more rooms for our artists for our summer production of Fiddler on the Roof! Do you have a spare bedroom, bunkie, trailer, underused cottage, or anywhere else an actor could lay their head for a bit? Reach out to let us know and chat about perks!
