The Caddy or in long terms - The Legend of Cadborosaurus!

In 1937, crew members aboard a whaling ship operating off the coast of British Columbia reported finding a strange, serpent-like animal inside a s***m whale’s stomach.

They described it as having:
• A long neck
• A small head
• A body unlike any known local sea creature

Before scientists could properly examine it, the remains were reportedly discarded.

😳 No photographs. No specimen. No proof.

Believers say it may have been the strongest evidence ever found for Cadborosaurus.

Skeptics say it’s exactly the kind of story that keeps legends alive.

One thing is certain: if the creature was real, the evidence vanished with the tide

Story time! 🤓

Beneath the Arctic ice lives one of Canada’s oldest warnings: Qalupalik — the green-skinned sea being said to wait near cracks in the ice, calling to children who wander too close to the water.

They’re said to hum to lure the children close and wear traditional Inuit parka with a large hood.

Part legend, part lesson, the Qalupalik carried away those who ignored the dangers of the frozen sea. In Inuit storytelling, folklore wasn’t just entertainment — it was survival wrapped in a story

Story time! Who knew there was so much folklore around these parts! Super cool. 🤓

Ever heard of the Hatsolts?

Along the rugged coasts of Vancouver Island, stories from the Nuu-chah-nulth people speak of the Hatsolts — a dark sea being said to lurk beneath the surface.

But this isn’t just a “monster story.”

Hatsolts is tied to a deeper warning:
⚠️ take only what you need from the ocean
⚠️ respect the balance of nature
⚠️ don’t let greed pull you under

Fishermen once told of waters going strangely still… then something moving below that shouldn’t be there. Not every story ends the same—but the message always does.

The ocean provides. The ocean also remembers.

Would you go back out after hearing that? Not I.

Story time! 🤓

The Legend of Cressie 💧

They say the water is too still.

On certain mornings in Lake Crescent, when the fog hangs low and the surface looks like glass, locals won’t go near the shore. Not because of the cold—but because of what might be watching from beneath.

The first stories came quietly.

Fishermen spoke of something long and dark slipping under their boats. No splash. No ripple. Just a shadow that didn’t belong.

At first, no one believed them.

Until more people started seeing it.

A curve breaking the water for just a second.
A shape too large to be a log.
A movement too smooth to be anything natural.

They began calling it Cressie.

Some say it’s ancient—older than the town, older than the roads, maybe even older than the stories themselves. A creature that has always lived in the depths, undisturbed… until people arrived.

Others think it’s something else entirely.

Not an animal.

Something watching. Waiting.

There are accounts of it following boats at a distance. Of the water shifting when there is no wind. Of that strange, heavy feeling—like you’re not alone, even when the lake is silent.

And then there are the moments people don’t like to talk about.

When the lake goes completely still.
When the birds stop.
When the fog rolls in just a little too fast.

That’s when they say you should leave.

Because if you see Cressie clearly…
it means it’s already too close.
