We have seen some comments and concerns regarding Mango Fest compensation and the role that Hopkins BTIA plays in the community, and we would like to address them respectfully.

BTIA is a non-profit, national organization. The Hopkins chapter is represented by mostly individuals who are from right here in Hopkins. Mango Fest acts as a fundraiser for the chapter. Financial reports are completed and shared with our national office.

Mango Fest is made possible only through the hard work of volunteer members. We engage sponsors, partners, vendors, performers, and supporters who we hope share a common goal of promoting Hopkins tourism, creating opportunities for local economic growth and highlighting the abundance of mangoes in our community.

Artist payments are made based on agreed upon terms and those terms being followed through. Additionally, "volunteer” workers have been compensated to the extent that their work and the budget allowed. Anyone who believes there has been a misunderstanding regarding compensation is invited to contact the organizers directly so that the matter can be reviewed and addressed appropriately.

Mango Fest aims to showcase Hopkins, by supporting local businesses, creating opportunities for vendors and artists, and attracting visitors whose spending benefits the wider community. While we understand that there may be differing views on how this impact is measured, we remain committed to working with The Village Council in supporting initiatives that contribute to the growth and development of our village and the people who live here.

Mango Fest 2026, held on June 13 and 14, 2026, has officially come to an end, leaving behind a weekend filled with music, food, culture, and community spirit in Hopkins Village.

Mango Fest 2026 has wrapped up with joy, flavor, and unforgettable memories!

We are beyond grateful to the Hopkins BTIA Chapter for the passion, teamwork, and dedication that brought this celebration to life.

This year was filled with vibrant performances, delicious creations, and the incredible spirit of Hopkins. Together, we showcased our culture, supported our vendors, celebrated entrepreneurship, and strengthened our community.

The legacy of Mary Clarine Castillo was honored as her vision continues to inspire this beloved festival.

To our vendors, performers, sponsors, volunteers, visitors, and every supporter — thank you for your energy and love. You are the heartbeat of Mango Fest, and your presence makes it special year after year.
