DEAR FRIENDS AND SUPPORTERS,
When we first opened The Culture Cafe, our dream was to create a space that celebrates the richness and diversity of Belizean culture, a place where visitors could experience the music, food, stories, and dances that make Belize so unique, and where Belizeans could enjoy a welcoming restaurant and bar.
Over the past few months, we’ve offered the show to visitors as a way to help them gain a deeper appreciation for the richness and diversity of Belizean culture. However, we realized it’s just not possible to do both with the way our show and restaurant schedules overlap.
For this reason, we’ve made the decision to close the restaurant and bar portion of our business and return to our original purpose: creating meaningful, immersive cultural experiences.
The Culture Cafe will also be available for private bookings and space rentals perfect for hosting your special events in a unique space.
We’re excited to refocus on what inspired The Culture Cafe in the first place sharing the true essence of Belize through food, art, and heritage.
Please note: We will be officially closing the restaurant and bar this Friday,July 11th 2025.
