Yesterday, KBL kicked off its FIFA World Cup 2026™ collaboration with Carling Black Label Botswana and Flying Fish, bringing people together to celebrate the power of football across Botswana.

As KBL Managing Director, Hannes Smal shared, “Beer and sports have always gone hand in hand. Beer is for social occasions and has been integral in bringing people together in moments of friendship, sports and general celebration.”

From match-day moments with friends to nationwide celebrations, we’re creating more ways for Botswana to connect, celebrate and enjoy the game while continuing to support local businesses and contribute to the economy.

And as always, we’re committed to making sure this celebration is enjoyed responsibly, so this World Cup moment is one to remember.

From the precision of our brewers and the care of our quality teams, to the dedication across commercial, logistics and support - every role is a craft, and every individual a vital part of the chain that brings our beer to life.

Great beer doesn’t happen by chance. It’s built through skill, discipline, and an unwavering commitment to excellence at every step of the process.
