Welcome to Watkins' American Saloon page. Watkins' American Saloon is owned and operated by Earl Watkins, who is a Native of Charleston, South Carolina U.S.A. an a retired U.S. Navy veteran, who's lived in Brazil, 20 plus years.

It's a place where a cultural exchange happens for those Brazilians who would like to get acquainted with an American experience but not actually need to travel outside of Brazil. The saloon tries to give its clients/friends a taste of an old Western cowboy 🤠 style American Saloon.

First, as you enter the saloon, you will be greeted by something you don't see every day, a true cowboy "swinging doors"! So, wear your cowboy/cowgirl Levis or Lee jeans, your cowboy/cowgirl hat, oh yeah, don't forget to bring those boots too, they'll sound awesome on that wooden floor, as you enter and go inside, everything the eyes see is of rustic in color as well in style; you'll see a crystal chandelier above the bar, an antique French crystal hutch with Watkins' American Saloon, "TOP" alcoholic spirits are kept, and yes wooden tables and chairs, of course our antique German upright piano 1894, plus, an original, first used here in Curitiba, a Thomas Edison/Erickson Company wooden telephone, and so many other things to see American.

We welcome all walks of life with mutual respect for all. Earl, the owner is an animal lover, so even your dogs are most welcome with leash but must be trained for indoor environments and well discipline with other animals and with people. Everyone gets the Southern hospitality and is welcomed!

Here, you will only find an atmosphere of happiness, fun, and relaxation, with others who also wish to have experienced a small taste of American culture and music. I welcome all Brazilians to come and bring with them their family, friends, and peers alike.

By-the-way, Tuesdays are Free English Speaking learning night from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM. So, if you have ever wanted to experience hearing, as well as speaking in English, then I welcome you to come on out on Tuesdays with others like yourself who do as well!

Written in English and Portuguese, please forgive the Portuguese version, it's my Hope's and my true wish to convey my love, respect and admiration for one and all. It's meant for all Human Kind. Smiling...

Life is what we make of it and of course it's extremely difficult to overcome at times and at times not. The hurdles and tribulations are given by The Almighty Himself, As a Christian man of faith and belief and true believer of Jesus Christ, Our Savior, Master and the only true God! He is always testing us as to the development stages in our life, there are always and will be always choices to be made by each individual. It depends quite totally on us where we stop and at what stage of life and development, that do we do say enough for me.

I wish to continue my personal journey of life, even if it is to be alone and in doing so free mind. This will knowingly create a degree of enlightenment that I will encounter by which an even higher degree of difficulty, tremendous pain and hardships for sure, but the awards and aftermath will be worth advancing in the stages of life. No more I can'ts and more of my wants be turned into my needs! Believe it or not! Most people, which I believe is the majority are very comfortable being and living their lives the way they have it!

We all decide the level of advancement of growth, that we wish to reach in our life. Never will everyone will be the same, for this reason amongst other reasons of course, that life isn't fair. We all decide the satisfaction of life, quality of lifestyles and the the level of life. I am for one who isn't ready to settle or give up on life, it isn't my time and only God knows. I just feel in my inner self or gut instincts that I am to continue onwards into my journey of life.

We all decide to continue to the next level of life or not, but knowing if you continue, you will be tested once again and more often then not and what it seems in our minds as unbeatable as well as unbearable to take more, but in moving forward we gain more enlightenment and wisdom in life. Will be if you choose to move forward, rest assure for certainty you will face head on with more up
