Tropical Week is happening all around the world from May 18–24 with Planteray.

Because of the work currently happening at Life is Beautiful, we will join the celebration for four days only — from May 21–24.

For the occasion, we created a special menu built around tropical ingredients, but approached our way.

WORLD TOUR MENU — ETHIOPIA

World Tour menu — each cocktail is dedicated to a country.

Next stop: Ethiopia, through a rich and aromatic cocktail inspired by spice, honey wine, and deep warming flavors.

RICH, SLIGHTLY SPICY & SMOKY — HONEY, BERBERE, AND PEATED WHISKY.

This cocktail takes inspiration from Ethiopian warmth and intensity, where spice, fermentation, and depth all come together.

Tej, a traditional Ethiopian honey wine, brings floral sweetness, texture, and a slightly wild fermented character.

The berbere spice syrup adds warmth and complexity through a blend of spices commonly used in Ethiopian cuisine, bringing gentle heat without overwhelming the drink.

A touch of Laphroaig 10yo peated whisky introduces smoky depth and structure, while white chocolate liqueur softens the edges with roundness and richness.

Verjus keeps the cocktail lifted and balanced with fresh acidity.

Warm. Spiced. Deep — an Ethiopian-inspired cocktail built around intensity and comfort.

WORLD TOUR MENU — SENEGAL #3

World Tour menu — each cocktail is dedicated to a country.

Next stop: Senegal, through a bright and refreshing cocktail inspired by two drinks we love drinking all the time.

FRESH, FRUITY & VIBRANT — HIBISCUS, GINGER, AND TROPICAL BRIGHTNESS.

We love drinking bissap and ginger juice.
Choosing between the two was impossible… so we decided to mix them together.

Hibiscus brings a tangy floral brightness, while ginger adds spice and energy.

Pineapple juice gives tropical roundness, verjus keeps everything fresh and balanced, and mint lifts the whole cocktail with a cooling finish.

Built on a blend of white rum, this one is bright, juicy, and dangerously easy to drink.

WORLD TOUR MENU — LEBANON

World Tour menu — each cocktail is dedicated to a country.

Next stop: Lebanon, through a fresh and vibrant cocktail built around herbs, citrus, and spice.

VIBRANT, FRESH & LIGHT — HERBS, CITRUS, AND SPICE.

This cocktail takes inspiration from Lebanese flavors, where herbs, acidity, and spices are always present and well balanced.

Gin brings structure and freshness.

The zaatar syrup adds a mix of herbs, sesame, and subtle spice, giving the cocktail its identity and a savory twist.

Fresh lemon brings brightness and keeps the drink sharp.

Pomegranate kombucha adds acidity, light fermentation, and a gentle fizz, making the cocktail lively and easy to drink.

A few drops of cardamom bitters bring warmth and aromatic depth on the finish.

Fresh. Herbal. Lively — a bright expression of Lebanese flavors.

WORLD TOUR MENU — PALESTINE

World Tour menu — each cocktail is dedicated to a country.

Next stop: Palestine, through a rich and aromatic cocktail inspired by warmth, spices, and traditional ingredients.

WARM, AROMATIC & TEXTURED — GRAIN, COFFEE, CARDAMOM, AND POMEGRANATE.

This cocktail is dedicated to Palestinian flavors, where grain, spice, and fruit are part of everyday cooking.

Blanche de Drouin infused with roasted freekeh brings a dry, toasted grain note and a subtle smoky depth. Freekeh is a young green wheat, harvested early and roasted over fire, commonly used in Palestinian cuisine in soups, salads, and warm dishes for its earthy and nutty character.

Fino sherry adds lightness and a touch of salinity.

The coffee, cardamom, and pomegranate syrup brings bitterness, spice, and fruit, echoing the warmth and intensity of the cuisine.

The glass is rinsed with arak, adding a delicate anise note on the finish.

Aromatic. Warm. Rooted in tradition.
