What if Joy Division and Ekkstacy got lost in neon-soaked โ€˜90s HongKong? Thatโ€™s what , the electrifying project of Brussels-based Karel Piot, sounds like.

Somewhere between Ekkstacy, Mareux, and The Haunted Youth, Pyoโ€™s music is a blend of modern post-punk and the new wave sounds of the 1980s. In his retro cyberpunk universe, drenched in wavy dreams, Pyo reveals his direct and introspective lyrics.

One of the most distinctive producers in contemporary electronic music, has spent over a decade building a dark and immersive sonic universe. Since his breakthrough album Bad Vibes, the LA-artist has become known for his melancholic atmospheres, distorted rhythms and forward-thinking productions.

As co-founder of the influential WEDIDIT collective and producer for artists such as Yung Lean, Lil Yachty and Post Malone, Shlohmo has left a lasting mark on modern beat and bass music.
