Thomas Stapleton was born in Fethard, Co Tipperary, Ireland in 1622 – son of Richard Stapleton and Elenor Meagher. He was educated in the Irish Collage, Leuven and on August 31, 1661 he was elected Rector Magnificus of
the University City, leuven. During the period 1661 to 1681 Thomas Stapleton was elected on 7 occasions by the faculties of Medicine & Common Law. Peters Church on the Grote Markt i

Local Gaelic Games club made it into EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum in Dublin.

A great initiative by EPIC, celebrating the international GAA scene! You absolutely MUST check out the museum if you're planning a trip to Ireland!
