No Worries grapefruit - alcohol-free ipa (0.5%) brewed by Lervig in Stavanger (Norway).
This IPA has a strong grapefruit aroma, the taste is a bit milder though. It has a nice maltiness with notes of blood orange and a hint of grapefruit. A tasty thirst quencher!

Tour de Gueze 2026: Geuze blender De Cam in Gooik. Residing in a charming old farmhouse / brewery building dating back to 1515. De Cam has been here since 1992 and Karel Goddeau (in the last photo) has been their beer blender since 2000. They buy in their from other breweries and age it in old oak barrels from Pilsner Urquell (Csech Republic).
Tasted the nectarine which was indeed as delicious as it sounds. Also shared some of their gueze with a few

Another good memory from my trip to South Africa for the African Beer Cup: our visit to Shackleton Brewery in Paarden Eiland, Cape Town. A cozy brewery with an award winning Kolsch. The picture of the brewery at night has such a surrealistic feel to it, I love it.🤩
The name of the brewery was inspired by the story of Sir Ernest Shackleton and his voyage to the Antarctic. Posting this on the day that the brewery is celebrating its 9th birthday! Congratulations guys🎉

Baccusardus Italian Grape Ale by Baccusardus Beer in Italy. Brewed to celebrate the anniversary of the Baccusardus wine shop.

This original Italian Grape Ale was brewed by Nicola Pera by making a double blanche and adding Sardinian grape must. The result is delicious, a full bodied beer with both refreshing floral and vinous notes, as well as a grainy undertone.
Big thank you to .lizaliza for bringing this to Brussels and allowing us to try it😊

We did another breweryvisit in Cape Town with the African Beer Cup team: Woodstock Brewery.
Beautiful and cozy place, with the brewery on the ground floor and the brewpub on the first floor. We were shown around by the brewer Tinus and got to taste beer from the tank. Amazing and creative brews for sure, so we had an absolute blast! Definitely recommended to visit!

PS ❤️❤️❤️ for what this brewery did during Covid- lockdown: use the tanks to make thousands of litres of soup to help the community every day!!

Yesterday the African Beer Cup judges had the day off and we were treated to a lovely day out in Cape Town.
We visited the Aegir brewery where brewer Rory treated us to an insane amount of good beer tasters. Every beer was delicious!
I tremendously enjoyed the , a blue sour fruit beer coloured with spirulina.
Wow! What a cozy brewhouse with beautiful views, delicious food and a wide range of amazing craft beer. Definitely recommended!

Tour de Geuze Stop 4: Brouwerij Sako in Gooik. A relatively new lambic maker, but definitely one to take into account. A beautiful farm location, lots of oak as expected, excellent beers (the Black Geuze and Kriek for instance!!) and a great atmosphere with live music. Meet-ups with a lot of beer friends too, so this definitely was a great stop!
