This is my entry to the Adriatico Amaretto Cocktail Competition. This low alcohol version of a Mai Tai is tropical, refreshing, sweet and sour. The Idea behind the Tai Mai was to create an inverted Mai Tai where the alcoholic ingredients were non alcoholic and then making the non alcoholic ingredients alcoholic.

My entry for the Cointreau Margarita Challenge:

The name of my cocktail creation is “Fenway Through My Heart,” which is supposed to intrigue the reader and make them want more. A fenway is the passageway through a marshland and the heart representing the shape of a fennel. I chose this as a poetic way of saying this cocktail is a journey revolving around fennel and all the unique and complex flavour this often-overlooked anise flavoured vegetable has.

This no waste cocktail remains true to the iconic Sweet and Sour balance of a Classic Margarita while incorporating a modern twist. So sit back and relax while we go on a journey together.
