💧Setkání EPP Group in the European Committee of the Regions v Mikulově | DEN 1 | Podpis Mikulovské deklarace
🍇V Mikulově se v těchto dnech koná setkání skupiny EPP v Evropském výboru regionů věnované vodní odolnosti, vodní bezpečnosti a jejich významu pro konkurenceschopnost měst a regionů.
Diskuse se první den zaměřila na dvě zásadní otázky: jak financovat vodní odolnost a jak urychlit konkrétní opatření, která povedou k větší vodní bezpečnosti na regionální a lokální úrovni.
Za Jihomoravský kraj setkání hostí Jan Zámečník - náměstek hejtmana Jihomoravského kraje, člen European Committee of the Regions, který se také aktivně zapojil do panelové diskuse o praktickém zajištění vodní odolnosti na regionální a lokální úrovni.
🤝 Významným výsledkem prvního dne setkání bylo přijetí 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐬𝐤𝐞́ 𝐝𝐞𝐤𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐞, která se zaměřuje na posílení vodní bezpečnosti a odolnosti evropských regionů a měst. Právě spolupráce evropských, národních, regionálních a místních aktérů je pro řešení vodních výzev zásadní.

🍇 These days, Mikulov is hosting a meeting of the EPP Group in the European Committee of the Regions, focusing on water resilience, water security, and their importance for the competitiveness of cities and regions.
On the first day, discussions focused on two key questions: how to finance water resilience and how to accelerate concrete measures that will contribute to greater water security at the regional and local levels.
The meeting is hosted by the South Moravian Region by Jan Zámečník - náměstek hejtmana Jihomoravského kraje and a member of the European Committee of the Regions, who also actively participated in a panel discussion on practical approaches to ensuring water resilience at the regional and local levels.
🤝 A key outcome of the first day was the adoption of the 𝐌𝐢𝐤𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐯 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, which focuses on strengthening water security and resilience across European regions and cities. Cooperation between European, national, regional and local stakeholders is essential to addressing water-related challenges.
