Brussels Beer Challenge The Brussels Beer Challenge is an annual international beer competition. The challenge provides Belgium with a prominent international competition.

Although this is not the first challenge of its kind, it was only fitting that Belgium should be able to offer brewers worldwide a professional, representative, but nonetheless independent contest. Here are several main objectives for the BBC:
-Firstly, to promote quality beers and encourage a spirit of competition within the industry.
-Secondly, to provide consumers with a quality label awarded

by professionals.
-And thirdly, to provide beer producers with a promotion and marketing tool. To ensure the event is organised professionally and rigorously, the BBC team has recruited the help of experts and consultants. Additionally, the tasting panel will comprise around 100 well-known, independent experts from across the globe.

The Brussels Beer Challenge 2026 kicks off today.

Belgium is the only country in the world whose beer culture is recognized by UNESCO.
Here, a medal opens doors to buyers, importers, and consumers.

This year, the judges will gather in Roeselare, West Flanders, from October 28 to 30, and we will celebrate awards on November 16 in Ghent.

📅 Register before July 31 and take advantage of the Early Bird rate. Send your samples to Brussels by October 12.
