🏆 PANCHAYA CHANNOI IS WORLD WOMEN'S SNOOKER CHAMPION 2026! 🏆

Thailand's Panchaya Channoi has defeated Reanne Evans 6-2 to win the World Women's Snooker Championship for the first time in her career.

The 18-year-old claimed the scalps of Bai Yulu, Mink Nutcharut and Evans to earn a breakthrough first WWS Tour title and secure a two-year professional WST card.

She becomes the second player to complete the world and Under-21 title double, emulating the achievement of Bai in 2024.

She becomes the third Thai winner of the event, following in the footsteps of Mink and Siripaporn Nuanthakhamjan.

🇬🇧 DAY 1 AT LANDYWOOD!

The landmark 30th staging of the Landywood British Open gets underway at the Landywood Snooker Club later today with the initial group stage and Seniors matches.

First held in 1983, the British Open has taken place more times than any event outside of the World and UK Championship events, with Reanne Evans (6), Allison Fisher (4), Kelly Fisher (4), Karen Corr (3), Ann-Marie Farren (2) and OnYee Ng (2) having won the event on multiple occasions.
