πŸ’― BAI HITS NEW HIGH BREAK!

Defending champion Bai Yulu has made a flying start to the final day of the Taom UK Women's Snooker Championship with a total clearance of 125 to open her quarter-final clash in Leeds.

The break is the the highest of the tournament surpassing the 123 made by OnYee Ng on the opening day, and is her 14th on the WWS Tour to date, which moves her alongside OnYee and Allison Fisher in a tie for second place on the all-time chart.

Four centuries at the event so far is the highest tally outside of the World Championship since the 2018 Australian Open.

Reanne Evans has made an ominous start as she bids to claim a record-extending 13th UK Championship title this weekend with breaks of 121 and 86 during her first group match win against Rose Nicholson.

The break is her 23rd century of her WWS Tour career - more than any other player.

Wil je je kennis als referee verder verdiepen, je eerste stappen zetten als scheidsrechter of je voorbereiden op het examen Graad 4? Dan ben je van harte welkom op het Seminarie voor Referees op zaterdag 5 september 2026 in Snookerclub Sint-Martinus in Gent.


Het seminarie wordt verzorgd door Olivier Marteel, WST Senior Referee & Assessor, en richt zich tot zowel ervaren en beginnende referees als kandidaat-referees. Na afloop krijgen kandidaten bovendien de mogelijkheid om het examen voor Graad 4 af te leggen.


Deze sessie wordt in het Nederlands gegeven. Op zaterdag 3 oktober 2026 volgt een Franstalig seminarie; meer informatie daarover volgt later.


Vooraf inschrijven is niet verplicht, maar om praktische redenen ontvangen we graag een seintje via [email protected].

Thailand's Panchaya Channoi has defeated Reanne Evans 6-2 to win the World Women's Snooker Championship for the first time in her career.

The 18-year-old claimed the scalps of Bai Yulu, Mink Nutcharut and Evans to earn a breakthrough first WWS Tour title and secure a two-year professional WST card.

She becomes the second player to complete the world and Under-21 title double, emulating the achievement of Bai in 2024.

She becomes the third Thai winner of the event, following in the footsteps of Mink and Siripaporn Nuanthakhamjan.
